This panel combines Vibrant Wellness' Tickborne Complete 1.0, Mycotoxins, and Gut Zoomer 3.0 tests to analyze overall health.

Key Details

  • Do not collect samples while menstruating.

  • You must avoid certain medications prior to testing.

  • Blood sample collection must be performed by a phlebotomist.

    • You may need to pay a separate fee for phlebotomy.

  • You must bring the test kit as well as the frozen ice packs to your blood draw appointment.

  • Fasting is not required.

Preparation & Timing

  • Collect your urine and stool samples prior to your blood draw.

  • Do not collect samples while menstruating.

  • If you are currently taking (or have recently taken) any of the following medications, consult your healthcare provider regarding the timing of collection. These medications can cause falsely low or high antibody results.

    • Laxatives

    • Probiotics

    • Steroids

    • Immunosuppressive medications

    • Biologic agents

    • Other immunomodulating medications

Preparing for Your Urine Collection

  • Fasting is not required. However, fasting for 12 hours may increase the excretion of mycotoxins.

    • Please consult your healthcare practitioner prior to fasting.

  • Do not drink more than 8 oz water 1 hour prior to urine collection.

Preparing for Your Stool Collection

  • There are no required diet, medication, or supplement restrictions.

Preparing for Your Blood Collection

  • Blood collection must be performed Monday - Friday only by a phlebotomist.

  • Fasting is not required.

  • Freeze the provided ice packs for at least 24 hours prior to your blood draw.

  • Bring the frozen ice packs, urine sample, stool samples, and test kit to your blood draw appointment.

Collection Instructions

Urine Collection

  1. Collect your first morning urine into the provided urine collection cup.

    1. Collect before eating or drinking.

    2. If you must drink something, drink less than 8 oz water.

  2. Open the specimen tube.

  3. Use the pipette to transfer the urine from the cup to the specimen tube.

    1. Fill to the top of the tube label.

  4. Recap the specimen tube by pushing down and twisting slightly.

  5. Discard the remaining urine and the urine collection cup.

  6. Write the following information on the tube label.

    1. Your full name

    2. Your date of birth

    3. Date of collection

    4. Time of collection

  7. Place the label onto the specimen tube.

  8. Place the specimen tube into the biohazard bag and seal it completely.


Stool Collection

  1. Urinate prior to sample collection.

  2. Write the following information on each tube.

    1. Your full name

    2. Your date of birth

    3. Date of collection

    4. Time of collection

  3. Put on the disposable gloves.

  4. Open the sampling sheet.

  5. Remove the protective covering from the tape on the sampling sheet.

  6. Adhere the sampling sheet to the toilet seat as shown.

    1. DO NOT let the sheet touch the water.

  7. Collect stool on the sampling sheet.

    1. DO NOT let stool touch water or urine.

  8. Use the provided scoop to add stool to each sample tube.

    1. DO NOT touch or dispose of the liquid in the tubes.

    2. Fill to the fill line. DO NOT overfill.

  9. Recap each tube tightly.

  10. Flush both the sampling sheet and excess stool down the toilet.

  11. Place the sample tubes into the biohazard bag with the absorbent material.

  12. Place the biohazard bag into the refrigerator until shipping.

  13. Remove the disposable gloves.

  14. Wash your hands to prevent contamination.


Blood Collection

  1. Bring the following items to your blood draw appointment.

    1. Test kit

    2. Frozen ice pack(s)

    3. Urine sample

    4. Stool samples

    5. Completed test requisition form

  2. The phlebotomist will collect, prepare, and ship your samples for you.

    1. Your test kit may come with more tubes than needed. Please have the phlebotomist check the collection instructions and your test requisition form to determine the correct tubes to draw.

Requisition & Payment

  • Your kit has been prepaid. You may need to pay an additional fee for phlebotomy.

  • Instructions on how to fill out your requisition can be found HERE.

    • Since you pre-paid for your tests, you do not need to fill in the payment information on any of these forms.

Shipping

  • Make a note of the tracking number on the included return label so that you can track your samples back to the lab.

  • The phlebotomist will ship your samples back to the lab using the mailing materials included in the test kit.

    • Your samples must be shipped Monday - Friday only.

    • Please be sure to bring the frozen ice packs and your urine sample to your appointment to include in the shipping box.

  • If the phlebotomist will not ship your urine and stool samples,

    • Place the urine specimen tube into one biohazard bag.

    • Place the stool specimen tubes into another biohazard bag.

      • Keep the stool sample in the refrigerator until you ship it.

    • Place the completed requisition form into the back pocket of one of the biohazard bags.

    • Place the biohazard bags into the provided return bubble mailer.

    • Return via FedEx as soon as possible, Monday - Friday only.

      • You can take your samples to the nearest FedEx location.

      • You can also visit www.fedex.com or call 1-800-463-3339 to schedule a pickup of your samples.

      • DO NOT place your samples in a FedEx drop box.

Results

  • Results should be released to your provider 7-14 days after samples are received at the lab. We cannot guarantee processing time.

  • Your provider will notify you when your results are in and schedule a follow-up appointment for you to review them together.
