  • Sample collection must be performed by a phlebotomist, Monday - Friday only.

    • You may need to pay a separate fee for phlebotomy.

  • Consult your healthcare provider if you take immunosuppressive drugs or immune-modulating drugs, as they may affect test results.

Preparation & Timing

  • No fasting is required.
  • Consult your healthcare provider if you take any of the following medications, as they may affect test results. 
    • Prednisone
    • Beclomethasone
    • Fluticasone
    • Triamcinolone
    • Any other oral or intranasal corticosteroid
    • Topical cortisone suspensions or creams
    • Any other immunosuppressive drug
    • Immune-modulating drugs

Collection Instructions

  1. Bring the test kit and completed test requisition form to your blood draw appointment.
  2. The phlebotomist will collect, prepare, and ship your sample for you.
    1. Your kit may come with more tubes than needed. Please have the phlebotomist check the requisition form to determine how many tubes of blood to draw.

Requisition & Payment

  • Your kit has been prepaid. You may need to pay a separate fee for phlebotomy.
  • Instructions on how to fill out your requisition can be found HERE.
    • Since you pre-paid for your tests, you do not need to fill in the payment information on any of these forms.

Shipping

  • Make a note of the tracking number on the return envelope/box so that you can track your sample back to the lab.
  • The phlebotomist will ship your sample for you using the materials provided in the test kit.
  • Samples should be shipped Monday - Friday only.

Results

  • Results should be released to your provider 5-10 business days after samples are received at the lab. We cannot guarantee processing time. 
  • Your provider will notify you when your results are in and schedule a follow-up appointment for you to review them together.
