Key Details

  • ⏰ You can collect your sample at any time.

  • 🍽️ DO NOT eat anything for at least 30 minutes before collecting your sample.

  • 💧Drink water a few minutes before collecting your sample.

  • 🚚 Ship your sample via USPS.

Collection Instructions

  1. Complete the online test registration by visiting https://dnarx.formstack.com/forms/kit_registration_dnarx.

    📄 How to Complete Your Registration

  2. Take a picture of the vial number on your vial.

    1. Keep this for your records. This number may be needed if an issue arises with your sample.

  3. Carefully open the vial and set it to the side.

    1. DO NOT touch or discard the liquid preservative in the vial.

  4. Carefully open the swab.

    1. DO NOT let the tip of the swab touch anything.

  5. Rub the swab vigorously against the inside of your cheek for at least 30 seconds.

  6. Place the cotton tip of the swab inside the vial.

  7. Bend the swab to break off the cotton tip.

  8. Close the lid of the vial tightly.

  9. Discard the swab stick.

  10. Place the vial back into the test kit box.

Requisition & Payment

  • Your kit has been prepaid. You DO NOT need to pay anything extra.

  • Take a picture of the vial number on your vial. This number may be needed if an issue arises with your sample.

  • You must complete the online test registration.

📄 How to Complete Your Registration

Shipping

  • To prepare your sample for shipping,

    • Take a picture of the vial number on your vial.

    • Place the vial (containing the cotton tip) into the test kit box.

    • Close the test kit box.

    • Tape the box shut securely.

    • Place the provided return label on the box.

  • Make a note of the return tracking number so that you can track your sample back to the lab.

  • Ship your sample via USPS.

Results

  • Results should be released to your provider 3-5 weeks after samples are received at the lab. Rupa Health cannot guarantee processing time.
