Key Details  

  • Sample collection must be performed by a phlebotomist, Monday - Thursday only. 
    • Information about scheduling a blood draw can be found HERE
    • DO NOT get your blood drawn at an ExamOne location.
    • You may need to pay a separate fee for phlebotomy.
  • You do not need to fast prior to sample collection.
  • The phlebotomist will collect, prepare, and ship your sample for you.

  • You do not need to fast prior to sample collection.
  • If you have been on a long-term treatment plan that includes cortical steroidal or immunosuppressive medications, consult your healthcare provider about the timing of this test.
  • Refrigerate or freeze the provided cold pack overnight prior to your blood draw.

Collection Instructions

  1. Your blood draw can only be performed Monday - Thursday. 
    1. DO NOT get your blood drawn at an ExamOne location.
  2. Refrigerate or freeze the provided cold pack overnight prior to your blood draw.
  3. Bring the following items with you to your blood draw.
    1. Entire test kit
    2. Refrigerated or frozen cold pack
    3. Completed test requisition form
  4. The phlebotomist will collect, prepare, and ship your sample for you.

Requisition & Payment

  • Your kit has been prepaid. You may need to pay a separate fee for phlebotomy.
  • Instructions on how to fill out your requisition can be found HERE.
    • Since you pre-paid for your tests, you do not need to fill in the payment information on any of these forms.

Shipping

  • Make a note of the tracking number on the return mailer so that you can track your samples back to the lab.
  • The phlebotomist will ship your sample for you using the materials provided in the test kit.

Results

  • Results should be released to your provider 7-10 business days after samples are received at the lab. We cannot guarantee processing time. 
  • Your provider will notify you when your results are in and schedule a follow-up appointment for you to review them together. 
  • Your provider may choose to release your results to you. Rupa cannot release your results without provider authorization.
