This test is used to detect pregnancy.

Key Details

  • Do not drink excessive water before the test.

  • Refrigerate your samples until you are ready to ship them.

  • Ship your samples via UPS as soon as possible.

Preparation & Timing

  • Do not drink excessive water before the test.

    • No more than eight 8 oz glasses of water during a 24-hour testing period.

Collection Instructions

  1. Collect your first morning urination in the provided collection cup.

  2. Use the provided pipette to transfer urine into the specimen tubes.

  3. Tighten the cap on the tubes.

  4. Discard the remaining urine and the collection materials.

  5. Write the following information on each tube.

    1. Your full name

    2. The date of collection

    3. The total urine volume (in mL)

  6. Place the tubes into the biohazard bag.

  7. Place the biohazard bag in the refrigerator until ready to ship.

Requisition & Payment

  • Your kit has been prepaid. You DO NOT need to pay anything extra.

  • Instructions on how to fill out your requisition can be found HERE.

    • Since you pre-paid for your tests, you do not need to fill in the payment information on any of these forms.

Shipping

  • Refrigerate your samples until you are ready to ship.

  • To ship your samples,

    • Place the specimen tubes in the biohazard bag.

    • Place the biohazard bag and completed test requisition form into the test kit box.

    • Place the test kit box in the provided UPS mailer.

  • Ship your samples via UPS as soon as possible.

    • Take the samples to the nearest store.

    • Make a note of the tracking number so that you can track your samples back to the lab.

Results

  • Results should be released to your provider 1-6 business days after samples are received at the lab. We cannot guarantee processing time.

  • Your provider will notify you when your results are in and schedule a follow-up appointment for you to review them together.
