The Vibrant Wellness Food Zoomers analyze IgG and IgA antibodies to various foods to determine food sensitivities. These tests do not determine food allergies. The Vibrant Wellness Component Zoomers analyze IgE antibodies to determine food allergies.

Key Details 

  • These instructions apply to the following Zoomers: Wheat, Neural, Lectin, Soy, Seafood, Peanut, Peanut Component, Nut, Egg, Egg Component, Dairy, Corn, Mammalian Milk, Milk Component, Grain, and Food Sensitivity.
  • Sample collection must be performed by a phlebotomist. 
    • Information about scheduling a blood draw can be found here
    • You may need to pay a separate fee for phlebotomy.
  • If you have the Wheat Zoomer, fasting for at least 8 hours is recommended but not required.
  • If you have the Wheat Zoomer and you are currently taking (or have recently taken) an immunosuppressant or steroid medication or an inhaler, consult your healthcare provider regarding timing of collection.

Preparation & Timing

  • Sample collection must be performed by a phlebotomist. 
    • Information about scheduling a blood draw can be found here
    • Vibrant Wellness-recommended blood draw locations can be found here.
  • Freeze the provided ice packs for at least 24 hours prior to your blood draw.
  • If you are have the Wheat Zoomer,
    • Fasting for at least 8 hours prior to your blood draw is recommended but not required.
    • If you are currently taking (or have recently taken) an immunosuppressant or steroid medication or an inhaler, consult your healthcare provider regarding timing of collection.

Collection Instructions

  1. Bring the test kit, frozen ice packs, and completed test requisition form to your blood draw appointment.
  2. The phlebotomist will collect, prepare, and ship your sample for you.

Requisition & Payment

  • Your kit has been prepaid. You may need to pay a separate fee for phlebotomy.
  • Instructions on how to fill out your requisition can be found here.
    • Since you pre-paid for your tests, you do not need to fill in the payment information on any of these forms.

Shipping

  • The phlebotomist will ship your sample for you using the materials provided in the test kit.

Results

  • Results should be released to your provider 7-14 days after samples are received at the lab. We cannot guarantee processing time. 
  • Your provider will notify you when your results are in and schedule a follow-up appointment for you to review them together. 
  • Your provider may choose to release your results to you. Rupa cannot release your results without provider authorization.
