This is a single-marker test measuring glyphosate. Glyphosate is the world’s most widely produced herbicide and is the primary toxic chemical in Roundup™, as well as in many other herbicides.

- Samples may only be shipped Monday through Thursday.

Preparation & Timing
- Save the cardboard box - you will use this to ship back your sample.
- Samples may only be shipped Monday through Thursday.
Collection Instructions
- Choose the faucet from which you will collect water.
- Ideally, this should be the faucet from which you get your drinking water.
- Remove the cap from the collection tube.
- Set the cap down on a clean, dry surface with the inside facing up.
- DO NOT touch the inside of the tube.
- DO NOT touch the inside of the cap to your fingers or any surface.
- Turn the faucet on.
- Let the water run for 30 seconds.
- Move the collection tube into the water stream to collect the sample.
- Fill the container 1/2 to 3/4 full.
- DO NOT fill any more than 3/4 full.
- Screw the lid on tightly.
- Freeze the water sample and the provided gel pack for at least 4 hours.
- Keep the sample in the freezer until you are ready to ship it.
- When you are ready to ship, place the sample tube and absorbent sheet into the clear zip-lock bag.
- Place the frozen gel pack and the clear zip-lock bag into the silver thermo bag.
- Place the silver thermo bag and completed requisition form into the cardboard box.
- Place the cardboard box in the provided FedEx Clinical Pak.
Requisition & Payment
- Your kit has been prepaid. You DO NOT need to pay anything extra.
- Instructions on how to fill out your requisition can be found HERE.
- Since you pre-paid for your tests, you do not need to fill in the payment information on any of these forms.
- DO NOT fill out any information on gplforms.com.
Shipping
- Sample must be frozen for a minimum of 4 hours prior to shipping.
- To prepare your sample for shipping,
- Place the sample tube into the clear zip-lock bag.
- Place the absorbent sheet into the clear zip-lock bag.
- Seal the clear zip-lock bag.
- Place the frozen gel pack into the silver thermo bag.
- Place the clear zip-lock bag into the silver thermo bag.
- Seal the silver thermo bag.
- Place the silver thermo bag into the cardboard box.
- Place the completed test requisition form into the box.
- Seal the cardboard box.
- Place the cardboard box into the provided FedEx Clinical Pak Mailer.
- Ship via FedEx, Monday - Thursday only.
- You can take your sample to the nearest FedEx location.
- DO NOT put your sample in a FedEx drop box.
- You can also schedule a FedEx pickup by calling 1-800-463-3339.
- When the automated greeting begins, say, “Schedule a pickup.”
- When asked if your label has the word “Stamp” on it, say, “Yes.”
- Let them know you are shipping using a Billable Stamp.
- Your tracking number can be found on the Return Label.
- Make a note of your tracking number (found on the Return Label) so that you can track your sample back to the lab.
Results
- Results should be released to your provider 3-4 weeks after samples are received at the lab. We cannot guarantee processing time.
- Your provider will notify you when your results are in and schedule a follow-up appointment for you to review them together.
- Your provider may choose to release your results to you. Rupa cannot release your results without provider authorization.
