The 3X4 Genetics Test + Blueprint Report tests a variety of genes to provide practical, personalized recommendations for you to start taking control of your health.

Key Details

  • ☀️ It is recommended to collect your sample first thing in the morning.

  • ❌ You must avoid certain activities before collection.

  • 💻 YOU MUST REGISTER YOUR TEST ONLINE. Failing to register your test may lead to a recollection and additional fees.

  • 🚚 Ship your sample via FedEx as soon as possible after collection.

Preparation & Timing

  • It is recommended to collect your sample first thing in the morning, immediately after you wake up.

  • Avoid wearing the following items on the day of sample collection.

    • Lip balm

    • Lipstick

  • Avoid the following activities for 1 hour before sample collection.

    • Eating

    • Smoking

    • Chewing gum

    • Drinking anything but water

  • Avoid drinking water for 30 minutes before sample collection.

Collection Instructions

  1. Complete the online test registration by scanning the QR code on your kit or visiting www.3x4genetics.com/register. Failing to register your test may lead to a recollection and additional fees.

    📄 How to Complete Your Requisition

  2. Wash your hands. Dry with a clean towel.

  3. Write your date of birth on the vial.

  4. Place the vial upright on a flat surface.

  5. Open the vial.

    1. DO NOT touch or discard the liquid.

  6. Unwrap the swab.

    1. DO NOT touch the cotton end that will go in your mouth.

  7. Rub the tip of the swab firmly against the inside of your cheek for 60 seconds.

    1. Use a lot of pressure as you swab.

    2. Rotate the tip as you swab.

    3. Ensure the cotton end does not touch anything but your cheek.

  8. Rub the tip of the swab firmly against the inside of your other cheek for 60 seconds.

    1. Use a lot of pressure as you swab.

    2. Rotate the tip as you swab.

    3. Ensure the cotton end does not touch anything but your cheek.

  9. Pick up the vial.

  10. Slowly insert and twist the swab into the vial.

    1. Use a corkscrew motion.

  11. Push the swab to the bottom of the vial.

  12. Move the swab rapidly up and down 10-15 times inside the tube.

    1. The swab should remain in the liquid the entire time.

  13. Slowly twist the swab to remove it from the vial.

    1. Use a corkscrew motion.

  14. Dispose of the swab.

  15. Seal the vial tightly.

  16. Take a picture of the kit code number or the QR code.

  17. Place the vial into the included zip lock bag.

  18. Place the zip lock bag into the packaging tube.

Requisition & Payment

  • Your kit has been prepaid. You DO NOT need to pay anything extra.

YOU MUST REGISTER YOUR TEST ONLINE. Failing to register your test may lead to a recollection and additional fees.

How to Complete Your Registration

Shipping

  • To prepare your sample for shipping,

    • Ensure you have registered your test online. Follow the instructions HERE.

    • Place the sample vial into the ziplock bag.

    • Place the ziplock bag into the packaging tube.

    • Place the packaging tube into the FedEx return mailer.

    • Seal the return mailer.

  • Make a note of the tracking number on the return mailer so that you can track your sample back to the lab.

  • Ship via FedEx. You can drop it off at the nearest FedEx location.

Results

  • Results should be released to your provider 28 business days after samples are received at the lab. Rupa Health cannot guarantee processing time.
