Whose Name is on my Requisition Form?

The name of the Authorizing Physician will be on your requisition form. Don’t worry! Your Rupa practitioner is still your practitioner and point of contact throughout the whole process, and will still receive results within their Rupa portal as normal.

What Happens if I Decide to Cancel My Order?

If you decide to cancel your order after you check out, you will be refunded for the test(s), per Rupa policy. However, the cost of the review by the Authorizing Physician is unfortunately non-refundable and will still be charged in the case of a cancellation.

What Happens if there’s a Specimen Issue?

If there is a specimen issue and you choose to not recollect, you will be refunded for the test(s) per Rupa policy. However, the cost of the review by the Authorizing Physician is unfortunately non-refundable and will still be charged in the case of any specimen issue-related cancellations.

When and How Do I Get My Results?

You will receive your results via email once the results are available. Your Rupa practitioner will receive results at the same time via their Rupa portal.

What Happens If There’s A Critical Result?

You will receive a phone call (up to 3 attempts) from the Authorizing Physician to discuss your results and next steps. You and your Rupa practitioner will still receive your results.

Should I Talk to my Rupa Practitioner or this ‘Authorizing Physician’?

Your Rupa Practitioner will remain your main point of contact 😃. The Authorizing Physician will never contact your Rupa practitioner, and you'll only be contacted by the Authorizing Physician if there is a critical result.
