These instructions are for all of US BioTek's blood draw tests, including food antibody assessments, inhalant antibody assessments, mold antibody assessments, the Celiac Antibody Panel, and the Candida Antibodies & Antigen Panel. Your kit may come with more tubes than needed. Please have the phlebotomist check the requisition form to determine how many tubes of blood to draw.

  • 🏥 Sample collection must be performed by a phlebotomist, Monday - Friday only.

  • 💰 You may need to pay a separate fee for phlebotomy.

  • 🍽️ No fasting is required.

  • 💊 Consult your healthcare provider if you are taking immunosuppressive drugs or immune-modulating drugs.

Preparation & Timing

  • Sample collection must be performed by a phlebotomist, Monday - Friday only.

  • Fasting is NOT required.

  • Consume a variety of foods when possible for a few weeks before sample collection.

  • Consult your healthcare provider if you are taking any of the following medications. They may affect test results.

    • immunosuppressive drugs, such as:

      • Oral corticosteroids

      • Intranasal corticosteroids

      • Topical cortisone suspensions

      • Topical cortisone creams

    • Immune-modulating drugs

  2. Complete your requisition form.

  3. Bring the following items with you to your blood draw appointment.

    1. Test kit

    2. Completed test requisition form

  4. The phlebotomist will collect, prepare, and ship your sample for you.

    1. Your kit may come with more tubes than needed. Please have the phlebotomist check the requisition form and collection instructions to determine how many tubes of blood to draw.

Requisition & Payment

  • Your kit has been prepaid. You may need to pay a separate fee for phlebotomy.

  • You must complete your requisition form and send it back with your samples.

    • Since you pre-paid for your tests, you do not need to fill in the payment information on this form.

📄 How to Complete Your Requisition

Shipping

  • Make a note of the tracking number on the return mailer so that you can track your samples back to the lab.

  • The phlebotomist will ship your sample for you using the materials provided in the test kit.

  • Samples should be shipped Monday - Friday only.

Results

  • Results should be released to your provider 5-10 business days after samples are received at the lab. Rupa Health cannot guarantee processing time.
