This is a combination of the Methylation Profile and the Folate Metabolism test. The Methylation Profile analyzes various amino acids in plasma to evaluate cellular methylation of DNA, proteins, and neurotransmitters. The Folate Metabolism test analyzes the levels of the primary forms of folate in plasma to evaluate folate metabolism and cellular methylation processes.

Sample collection must be performed by a phlebotomist, Monday - Friday only.

You must fast overnight prior to sample collection.
You must avoid certain medications for 48 hours prior to sample collection.

Consult your healthcare practitioner prior to discontinuing any prescription medications.
Freeze the provided ice pack for at least 6 hours prior to sample collection.
Collection Instructions
Bring the test kit, frozen ice pack, and completed test requisition form to your blood draw appointment.
The phlebotomist will collect, prepare, and ship your sample for you.
Requisition & Payment
Your kit has been prepaid. You may need to pay a separate fee for phlebotomy.

Since you pre-paid for your tests, you do not need to fill in the payment information on any of these forms.
Shipping
The phlebotomist will ship your sample for you using the materials provided in the test kit.
Samples should be shipped Monday - Friday only.
Results
Results should be released to your provider 3-8 business days after samples are received at the lab. We cannot guarantee processing time.
Your provider will notify you when your results are in and schedule a follow-up appointment for you to review them together.
