Your practitioner will select specific biomarkers for your blood panel, and your sample will be drawn at Labcorp.

These blood panels can include any combination of biomarkers chosen for you by your practitioner. Your sample for this test will be drawn at Labcorp.

  • πŸ“„ Your requisition form will be emailed to you. You must bring your requisition form (printed or on your phone) to your blood draw.

  • 🩸 Your blood draw will be performed at a Labcorp draw center. Rupa Health recommends making an appointment for your blood draw.

  • ❌ You CANNOT USE GETLABS for your blood draw.

  • 🍽️ You must fast for 12-14 hours before sample collection.

  • βœ… Please verify that the lab is drawing for all of the tests listed on your requisition.


Preparation & Timing

  • Sample collection must be performed by a phlebotomist, Monday - Friday only.

  • Your blood draw will be performed at a Labcorp draw center. Rupa Health recommends making an appointment for your blood draw.

    • NOTE: Your Labcorp blood draw was paid for when you or your practitioner paid for your order through Rupa.

    • NOTE: YOU CANNOT GET YOUR BLOOD DRAWN THROUGH GETLABS.

  • You must fast for 12-14 hours before sample collection.

  • Some tests require special preparation. You can see more details on patient preparation for each test HERE.


Collection Instructions

  1. Read this article to prepare for your blood draw.

  2. Make an appointment at a Labcorp draw center following the instructions below.

    1. PLEASE NOTE: You CANNOT get your blood drawn through GetLabs.

    2. When making your appointment, please make sure to select "β€œI have already paid or someone else is responsible.”

      1. Go to <a href="https://www.labcorp.com/labs-and-appointments" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">https://www.labcorp.com/labs-and-appointments</a>. 2. Enter your address or zip code. 3. Click Find a Lab. 4. Choose your preferred location and click Make Appointment. You cannot choose GetLabs.
      5. Ensure the Service says Labcorp. 6. Choose whether or not you will be fasting for your blood draw. 7. Click the button "Choose Date and Time" to choose an appointment.
      8. Choose an available appointment time from the list. 9. Click next to enter your personal information.
      10. When you reach "Financial Details," you must choose the final option - β€œI have already paid or someone else is responsible.” 11. Click next to review your information and confirm your appointment.

  3. Bring the following items with you to your blood draw appointment.

    1. Test requisition form - this form can be printed or shown on your mobile device

  4. The phlebotomist will collect, prepare, and ship your sample for you.

    1. PLEASE VERIFY THAT THE LAB IS DRAWING FOR ALL OF THE TESTS ON YOUR REQUISITION.


Requisition & Payment

  • Your kit and blood draw fee have been prepaid. You WILL NOT need to pay a separate fee for phlebotomy.

YOUR REQUISITION FORM CAN BE FOUND IN YOUR RUPA PATIENT PORTAL. RUPA HEALTH WILL ALSO EMAIL IT TO YOU.

Please bring this form with you to your blood draw.


Shipping

  • The phlebotomist will ship your sample for you.


Results

  • Results should be released to your provider 1-10 business days after samples are received at the lab. Rupa Health cannot guarantee processing time.
