The Full Immunology Panel, or Allergy Antibody/Celiac & Gluten Sensitivity test, analyzes a variety of biomarkers to aid in the diagnosis of food and inhalant allergies and sensitivities. It includes the IgE Food Antibodies Assessment, IgG Food Antibodies Assessment, IgG Vegetarian Food Profile, IgE Inhalants Profile, IgE Molds Profile, IgG Spices Profile, and Celiac & Gluten Sensitivity tests.

Key Details

  • Sample collection must be performed by a phlebotomist.

    • Information about scheduling a blood draw can be found HERE.

    • You may need to pay a separate fee for phlebotomy.

    • Rupa Health recommends getting your blood drawn and sample shipped Monday - Thursday only to avoid shipment delays.

  • Freeze the provided freezer brick for at least 8 hours prior to your blood draw. Bring it to your blood draw.

Preparation & Timing

  • Sample collection must be performed by a phlebotomist.

    • Rupa Health recommends getting your blood drawn and sample shipped Monday - Thursday only to avoid shipment delays.

  • Freeze the provided freezer brick for at least 8 hours prior to your blood draw.

    • You must bring this with you to your blood draw.

  • Please speak to your healthcare practitioner regarding timing if you take any of the following medications:

    • Glucocorticosteroids

    • Chemotherapy

    • Immunosuppressive agents

    • NSAIDs

  • If you have liver damage or HIV infection, your test results may be inaccurate.

  • Eat a variety of foods for 2-3 weeks before testing.

Collection Instructions

  1. Freeze the provided freezer brick for at least 8 hours prior to your blood draw.

  2. Complete the test registration (instructions HERE).

    1. Please ensure that the name on the registration matches the name on your Rupa order EXACTLY. If it does not match, you may need to recollect your samples.

  3. Bring the following items with you to your blood draw appointment.

    1. Test kit

    2. Frozen freezer brick

    3. Completed activation card

  4. The phlebotomist will collect, prepare, and ship your sample for you.

  5. NOTE: If you are in Alaska or Hawaii, Genova recommends shipping with dry ice to ensure your samples arrive frozen, as overnight shipping is not guaranteed due to the distance. If your samples do not arrive frozen, you may need to recollect. Please note on your activation card if you use dry ice.

Requisition & Payment

  • Your kit has been prepaid. You may need to pay a separate fee for phlebotomy.

  • Instructions on how to complete your test registration can be found HERE.

    • Since you pre-paid for your tests, you do not need to fill in the payment information on this form.

Shipping

  • Make a note of the tracking number on the return label so you can track your sample back to the lab.

  • The phlebotomist will ship your sample for you using the materials provided in the test kit.

  • The sample must be shipped with overnight delivery.

Results

  • Results should be released to your provider 7-21 business days after samples are received at the lab. We cannot guarantee processing time.

  • Your provider will notify you when your results are in and schedule a follow-up appointment for you to review them together.
