The Precision Epigenomics Liquid Biopsy Test, EPISEEK, is a blood-based test designed to detect circulating tumor DNA (ctDNA) from a simple blood draw. EPISEEK analyzes epigenomic modifications present on the ctDNA. Special software is used to analyze the results and aids the pathologist to issue a report that specifies if an abnormal signal is detected or if no cancer signal is detected.

Preparation & Timing

  • Sample collection must be performed by a phlebotomist, Monday - Thursday only.

    • DO NOT DRAW OR SHIP YOUR SAMPLES ON FRIDAY OR A HOLIDAY.

Collection Instructions

  1. Read this article to prepare for your blood draw.

  2. Schedule your blood draw.

  3. Complete the online test registration by scanning the QR code on your kit or visiting www.trudiagnostic.com/register.

  4. Bring the following items with you to your blood draw.

    1. Test kit

  5. The phlebotomist will collect your sample following the directions included in the test kit.


Requisition & Payment

  • Your kit has been prepaid. You may need to pay a separate fee for phlebotomy.

YOU MUST REGISTER YOUR TEST ONLINE. Your sample will not be analyzed until your test has been registered.


Shipping

  • Make a note of the tracking number on the return mailer so that you can track your samples back to the lab.

  • The phlebotomist will prepare and ship your sample for you using the packing materials included in the test kit.

  • The phlebotomist must draw and ship your sample Monday - Thursday ONLY.


Results

  • Results should be released to your provider 2-3 weeks after your sample is received at the lab. Rupa Health cannot guarantee processing time.
