Empire City Laboratories’ blood panels can include any combination of biomarkers chosen for you by your practitioner.

Key Details

  • 🏥 Sample collection must be performed by a phlebotomist.

  • 🗽 If you are located in New York City, you can get your blood drawn at an Empire City Laboratories draw center.

  • 💰 You may need to pay a separate fee for phlebotomy.

  • 💧 Hydrate before your blood draw.

  • ❗ Some tests require special preparation, such as fasting before collection.

Preparation & Timing

  • Sample collection must be performed by a phlebotomist.

    • If you are located in New York City, you can get your blood drawn at an Empire City Laboratories draw center.

    • You CANNOT get your blood drawn at Labcorp or Quest.

  • Hydrate before your blood draw.

  • If your blood panel includes any of the following tests, you must fast for 12 hours before sample collection.

    • Fatty Acids, Omega-3 & 6

🏥 If you are located in New York City, you can get your blood drawn at an Empire City Laboratories draw center.

  1. Read this article to prepare for your blood draw.

  2. Schedule your blood draw.

  3. Bring the following items with you to your blood draw.

    1. Test requisition form - this form can be printed or shown on your mobile device

    2. ID

  4. The phlebotomist will collect, prepare, and ship your sample for you.

Other Phlebotomy Clinic or Mobile Phlebotomist

🏥 If you are not located near an Empire City Laboratories draw center, you can get your blood drawn at any phlebotomy clinic or mobile phlebotomist.

  1. Read this article to prepare for your blood draw.

  2. Schedule your blood draw.

  3. Bring the following items with you to your blood draw.

    1. Complete test kit

    2. Test requisition form

  4. The phlebotomist will collect, prepare, and ship your sample for you.

    1. To prevent sample recollection, please ensure all required tubes are included in the collection materials, clearly labeled, and shipped back with your samples.

Requisition & Payment

  • Your kit and blood draw fee have been prepaid. You may need to pay a separate fee for phlebotomy.

Shipping

  • The phlebotomist will ship your sample for you.

Results

  • Results should be released to your provider 2 business days after samples are received at the lab. Rupa Health cannot guarantee processing time.
